HRG - Consultoria & Imobiliário, Lda ("we", "our", "us"), operating under the brand Historical Enigma, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices when you use the Historical Enigma mobile application ("the App") and website ("the Service"). We have designed the App with a privacy-first approach: we do not create user accounts, we do not store personal information on our servers, and all payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment or billing details.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
To be clear about what we do not collect or store:
- No personal identity data: we do not require registration, so we do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials.
- No payment data: all in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive no access to your payment method, billing address, or financial information.
- No location data stored: the App may access your device's GPS to display your position on the in-game map during active play. This data is used locally on your device only and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- No usage analytics: the App functions at the device level and does not require an internet connection to play (only to download). We do not collect behavioural, analytics, or telemetry data.
- No tracking: we do not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
3. Anonymous Nature of Use
Because the App does not require registration or login, your use of the App is essentially anonymous. The only link between your identity and the App is the purchase record held by Apple or Google on your behalf, governed by their respective privacy policies.
Game progress is saved locally on your device. If you uninstall the App or change device, your progress may be lost, as it is not synced to any external server.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
Access to the game is unlocked via a weekly subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All billing, payment processing, refund handling, and subscription management are governed by the terms and privacy policies of the respective platform.

5. Location Permissions
The App requests access to your device's location solely to show your current position on the in-game map. Location access is only active while the App is in use. We do not transmit, record, or store your location at any time. You can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.
