1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Historical Enigma application ("the App") or accessing the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The App is operated by HRG - Consultoria & Imobiliário, Lda ("we", "us", "our"), trading under the brand Historical Enigma.

2. The Service

Historical Enigma provides an outdoor, self-guided mystery game experience ("the Game") accessible via the App. The current available game is Spy Game Lisbon, an immersive adventure set in historical Lisbon.

3. Subscription & Payment

• Access to the Game requires a paid weekly subscription of 9.99€.
• Each subscription is valid for one (1) user account for a period of seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase.
• One device may be shared among a group of players; only the account holder requires a subscription.
• Larger groups using multiple devices require a separate subscription for each device.
• Subscriptions are non-transferable and may not be shared between separate accounts.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payment is processed at the time of purchase through our payment provider.

4. Refund Policy

Given the digital nature of the Service, refunds are generally not provided once the subscription has been activated and access to content has been granted, unless required by applicable consumer protection law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at within 48 hours of purchase. rag_hr@outlook.com

Refund requests via the App Store (Apple) or Google Play are subject to those platforms' respective refund policies.

5. Licence & Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App and access the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes during the subscription period.

All content within the App and website — including narrative text, puzzles, images, audio, design, and branding — is the intellectual property of HRG - Consultoria & Imobiliário, Lda or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Circumvent any technical measures protecting the content or subscription system.
• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Share subscription credentials with others or resell access.
• Engage in any behaviour that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.

7. Outdoor Activity & Safety

The Game involves outdoor activity in public spaces. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

• You participate at your own risk.
• You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your group.
• You must comply with all local laws, regulations, and public health requirements.
• We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses arising from participation in the outdoor game.
• You should be aware of your surroundings and exercise caution, particularly near roads and in crowded areas.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
